Starting and ending in Dar, the package includes:
• 3 nights in Selous Game Reserve 
• 1 night in Mikumi National Park
• This is a mobile safari that can be tailored to suit your budget and tastes. 

Highlights

• Selous Game Reserve is one Africa’s largest reserve and is crossed by the Rufiji River and its tributaries which forms a network of lakes ideal for boat safaris.
• It’s rivers, hills, and plains are home to roaming elephant populations, the area’s famous wild dogs, and some of the last black rhino left in the region.
• Selous Game Reserve has remained one of the untouched gems of Tanzania’s national parks and game reserves, and offers visitors a chance to see a wild and expansive Africa far from paved roads and curio shops.

Generally dry and hot with cool nights/mornings from June-October, short rains from November to mid-December, long rains March-May but the seasons can vary.

Tips and notes

• If you have the time and the budget to spare, an extension into North of Tanzania through Lake Manyara , Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti and we can offer you an 8 night package after Southern Tanzania or you can start with the Northern and end with the Southern part.
• This safari is also an excellent combination with Zanzibar, Pemba or Mafia islands for the beach experience.
• This safari is also good for family groups with children between the ages of 11-16 yrs.
