Madagascar's Northern Wonders

A 5 night/6 day trip discovering the northern shores of MadagascarHighlights

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive into Antananarivo (Tana) International Airport and transferred to hotel well-suited downtown.  Evening to discover the city with dinner and overnight at the La Varangue or Royal Palissandre hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to airport for flight to Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) via idyllic Nosy Be.  Upon arrival, guests are transferred to the Colbert Hotel.  An afternoon day excursion takes in "Montagne des Francais" with its caves, fort ruins and the historical Anosiravo Cavern. Finally reaching viewpoint of Diego Bay before returning to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: A full day excursion to the three bays with their gorgeous small and intimate white-sand beaches. A day of beach excursions, rest and relaxation in some of Madagascar's most beautiful surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the Colbert Hotel.

Day 4: A short car trip south from Diego Suarez crossing Joffreville to arrive at the Amber Mountain National Park. This volcanic range offers several botanical trails, crater lakes and is a haven for wildlife viewing including lemurs, reptiles and over 70 species of birds.  Dinner and overnight at La Nature Lodge.

Day 5: Morning walk into Amber Mountain National Park returning to Diego Suarez city for transfer to airport for flight back to Tana.  Transfer upon arrival into Tana to hotel downtown.  Dinner and overnight in the La Varangue or Royal Palissandre hotel.

Day 6: Morning transfer to Tana International Airport for return flight.
