Brief day-to-day itinerary

Day 1:
Transfer from Antananarivo (Tana) International Airport to well-suited hotel downtown.  The evening will be spent discovering the capital, with dinner and overnight at either the La Varangue or Royal Palissandre hotels.

Day 2: Transfer to airport after breakfast for flights to Tuléar (Toliara).  Upon arrival into Tuléar, guests will be taken to Ifaty, a small Vezo village by the Indian Ocean for a short beach stay at the Paradisier Hotel. The evening will be spent at leisure exploring this beautiful coastal wilderness.

Day 3: Morning drive to Tuléar to visit the Arboretum botanical gardens, continuing on to Isalo National Park-84,540 hectares of wildly eroded Jurassic sandstone massif, interspersed with grassy plains. This is considered one of the most worthwhile wilderness places to visit on the island. Dinner and overnight at one of Madagascar's best hotels, the Relais de la Reine.

Day 4: The day is spent hiking throughout Isalo National Park, discovering and climbing the Canyon of Monkeys and 'Canyon des Singes' and viewing the lemurs in the park.  The tours are tailored to the physical abilities of the group.  Dinner and overnight will be at the Relais de la Reine.

Day 5: Early morning walk to a natural swimming pool "Piscine Naturelle" within Isalo National Park, returning to the hotel for a transfer to Tuléar airport and flight back to Tana. Upon arrival into Tana, guests will be transferred to La Varangue, or the Royal Palissandre hotel downtown.

Day 6: Morning transfer after breakfast to Tana airport for departure.
