Package deal includes:

•  3 night’s accommodation at Tongabezi Lodge all inclusive
•  Return road transfers to and from Livingstone airport to Tongabezi

  Tour of the Tujatane School

Highlights

The following costs are specifically excluded from the price: domestic airfares or road transfers to and from Victoria Falls before and after the package; all Parks fees, single supplements; any levies, taxes, surcharges and visa fees; bank charges, gratuities and purchases of a personal nature; any optional extras (Hwange, Chobe, rafting etc.) 

Best time of the year

• The Falls themselves are most spectacular when in full flood in April - the spray is intense so they're best viewed from the air. 
• Photographic opportunities from the Rain Forest improve as the annual flood abates from May onwards.
• Photographic opportunities are excellent especially at dawn and dusk.
• Birding is exceptional until the migrants head north in April, after that it reverts to excellent!!

Tips and notes

• There is sufficient time to include a full day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana or a similar trip to Hwange as an optional extra - this should be arranged in advance.
• All adventure activities (rafting, bungee jumps etc.) are optional extras - they can be arranged at time of booking or on first evening of arrival at the Lodge. 
• Victoria Falls and Livingstone towns have interesting shops and markets - do not be persuaded to change cash on the streets and beware of pick pockets.  Take the same sensible precautions that you would in any African tourist center.
• Days at Tongabezi have no set pattern and can be spent exactly as you wish. Choose simply to relax at the lodge, enjoy a pampering Swedish massage whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the Zambezi, or make the most of the wealth of activities, both inclusive and exclusive
