A 6 night/7 day safari

Starting and ending in Maun the safari quickly introduces a wide variety of waterways, big game and river life within the Okavango Delta with the lesser known habits of animal and human life in the desert and star gazing to boot!

• 2 nights Okavango Camp
• 2 nights Moremi Camp
• 2 nights Kalahari Camp

All intercamp charters/road or boat transfers are included

Actual camps used are allocated according to availability and will be any of the following:

• Kalahari Camps - Jack or San Camps
• Okavango and Moremi Camps: Chitabe, Chitabe Trails, Jacana, Kwetsani, Little Vumbura, Tubu Tree anjd Xigera

Includes all accommodation,  meals, laundry, activities, Parks and Guide fees, all transfer costs from commencement to the end of the safari

Excludes domestic airfares or road transfers to and from Maun before and after the safari; single supplements on accommodation and transfers; drinks,  any levies, taxes, surcharges and visa fees; bank charges, travel and medical insurance, gratuities and purchases of a personal nature

Best time of the year

• April to November each year when the Okavango is most accessible
• Each season and every year differs in the Okavango 
• Best game is from July to November, best birding in the green season from mid October to April

Tips and notes:

• This safari is easily extended - Victoria Falls is the primary hub from which Chobe and Hwange National Parks are accessed. Lusaka and Kariba are easy connections and hubs for any Kafue/Luangwa and Matusadona/Mana Pools combinations. 

• Access to both camps in Moremi and the Kalahari is by light aircraft - baggage allowances are restricted to 12kg in soft bags, special allowance for additional photographic equipment must be made in advance
