At Ilala Lodge the package includes accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis and one dinner at the Boma Restaurant. A sunset cruise, tour of the Victoria Falls and Rain Forest, and visits to both a Crocodile Park and Nature Sanctuary are included. A variety of hotels and restaurants at Victoria Falls offer further options for dining out.
Excluded are drinks, lunches, dinners, laundry, Parks & Entry Fees, single supplements, any levies, taxes, surcharges and visa fees, and any bank charges that you may incur. Gratuities and purchases of a personal nature, and any optional extras such as adventure activities, are also excluded.
At Muchenje Safari Lodge the package includes accommodation, all meals, all drinks, a laundry service, unlimited game activities and Park Fees.
Excluded are single supplements, any levies, taxes, surcharges and visa fees, bank charges, gratuities and purchases of a personal nature.
Tips and Notes
- Dietary preferences (eg vegetarian) must be specified in advance
- We recommend early booking for Christmas/New Year, Easter and the months of July, August and September.
- All adventure activities are optional extras – these can be arranged at the time of booking. (Note that Elephant back trails and helicopter, microlight or fixed wing flights must be booked in advance.)
- Dinner at the Boma Restaurant must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance.
- Allow extra funds for lunches and drinks where not included in package.
- Victoria Falls town has interesting shops and markets – do not be persuaded to change cash on the streets and beware of pick pockets.
- Take the same sensible precautions that you would in any African tourist centre
