Tongabezi
Tongabezi Lodge is an owner run small, secluded lodge, upstream from the Victoria Falls, set in a tranquil spot along the Zambezi River. Accommodation is in four uniquely designed open-plan thatched houses and five luxury cottages. All rooms have magnificent views of the river and a private veranda and the emphasis is on romance and exclusivity. The lodge is particularly suitable for honeymooners.
Tongabezi's second facility is Tangala House which is a large and unique family home with incredible sunsets across the Zambezi and looking onto the Zambezi National Park. It is the only complete house for hire in the Zambezi National Park.
Stylishly built and furnished with a recent feature in the UK House and Garden magazine, Tangala sleeps eight and makes an ideal stay for a family holiday, coming fully serviced and staffed by Tongabezi Lodge
The third Tongabezi property is Sindabezi Island Camp, a private island nestled in the middle of the Zambezi River. This is the only bush camp within this area and the entire camp can be booked for a single party.
Tongabezi are the only operators to offer exclusive guided trips to Livingstone Island above Victoria Falls; the location Dr Livingstone first viewed the Mosi-oa-Tunya ('The Smoke That Thunders') - the Victoria Falls. Signifcantly, 2005 marks the 150th anniversary of Livingstone's discovery of the falls
