Natureways, specialists in Canoe and walking safaris, are based along the Zambezi River, in Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe. 

Natureways is owner operated by James and Janine Varden, who took over operations in 1997.  James Varden is considered one of Zimbabwe’s top professional guides.  

Natureways offer private group canoeing and walking safaris or can build you a dream safari itinerary, custom-made to include optional activities such as horseback riding, birding, animal tracking and fishing. 

They also operate Camp Zambezi, a fixed camp located within Mana Pools National Park.  Opportunities at Camp Zambezi include game viewing, birding, botany tours along the Zambezi River, by either vehicle, by foot or canoe.
