Remote Africa Safaris
Remote Africa Safaris has been owned and operated by John and Carol Coppinger since 1995. Owners and operators of Tafika Camp and Crocodile Camp in the South Luangwa National Park and Mwaleshi Camp in the North Luangwa National Park.
Tafika Camp is located just outside the Nsefu sector of the South Luangwa National Park, and offers game drives, bush walks and sundowners. Micro lighting is an optional extra at Tafika Camp with John Coppinger as Pilot. During the green season, River safaris, boating, canoeing and exceptional bird watching is possible from Tafika Camp.
Chikoko Trails in the South Luangwa National Park, offer walking safaris and trails between Chikoko Camp and Crocodile Camp along the Luangwa River. Both camps are situated within wilderness areas with no roads thus you walk from camp to camp.
Mwaleshi Camp is located within North Luangwa National Park on the Mwaleshi River. Game viewing is by foot due to the lack of roads, and led by experienced guide Dorian Tilbury. Day trips to the Mwaleshi Falls are optional.
Private guiding is available at all camps if requested.
