Boogie Pilgrim

Boogie Pilgrim started in 1987 with the name ‘The Bush House’ running a small eco-lodge on the Canal des Pangalanes.

In 1989 they started the incoming tour operation ‘Boogie Pilgrim’ in Antananarivo, since then they have decided to develop tourism hand in hand with the magnificent Malagasy plants and wildlife.

Travelling with Boogie Pilgrim allows you to discover the most popular places all over the island of Madagascar using the most varied means of transport: Walking or trekking, four wheeled drive vehicles, boats, private planes and more.

They actively participate in the development of eco-tourism in partnership with the ‘National Association for the Management of Protected Areas’, the Tourism Board, the ‘National Organisation for the Environment, the ‘Go to Madagascar Association’ and since 1999 they have become members of the Eco-tourism Society.

Boogie Pilgrim operate a multitude of adventurous and unique trips throughout Madagascar using a range of properties around the country including the La Varangue and Royal Palissandre hotels in the capital Antananarivo; Bush House Lodge on the Canal des Pangalanes; Paradisier Hotel on southern Madagascar's Ifaty beach; La Nature Lodge on the shores of Diego-Suarez Bay; Princess Bora Lodge on beautiful Sainte-Marie Island; Relais de la Reine at Isalo National Park and Vakona Forest Lodge near Perinet National Park.
