The Kruger National Park
The Kruger National Park is one of the world’s biggest and best managed wildlife reserves. It is nearly two million hectares of African bush and contains a huge diversity of animals, birdlife and other flora.
Kruger was founded in 1898, making it one of the oldest game reserves on the continent. The park is admired worldwide for its superior wildlife management and for the protection it affords endangered animals like the wild dog, cheetah and nyala.
The park and surrounding private game reserves are the top safari destination in Africa for a very good reason: the infrastructure and accommodation are outstanding, the game viewing is excellent and the scenery is truly beautiful.
