The meandering highway that connects Cape Town to the coastal city of Port Elizabeth is popularly known as the Garden Route because of the natural beauty and scenic appeal of the landscape. Popular towns along the way are Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, well loved for their laid-back atmosphere, lovely surrounds and balmy climate
