As an ecologically responsible development, North Island tries to restore the wildlife and protect the fragile ecosystem on the island, which is only 2.5km long and over 1km wide.

Each guest villa offers two bedrooms with huge beds, lounge areas and entertainment facilities in a beautifully decorated space. Roomy bathrooms contain marble baths, inside and outside showers.

Outside decks, private pools and a covered sala compete these luxurious villas.

Situated on the side of a hill overlooking the main swimming pool, the recently opened North Island Spa provides rejuvenation, refreshment and professional pampering with stunning Indian Ocean views.

The spa has two main glass fronted treatment rooms, each with two treatment beds and a bath, perfect for double massages.  Specially tailored programs can be designed in consultation with the spa therapists to suit guests’ individual needs
