Mgahinga National Park
Mgahinga National Park is Uganda's smallest National Park and was establised in 1991 to protect the dense tropical rainforest on the lower slopes of the Virunga Volcanoes, home to some of the few remaining mountain gorillas in Africa.

Bwindi National Park
Bwindi National Park is in the southwest of Uganda and is the largest remaining natural rainforest in East Africa. Tourism in Bwindi focuses on gorilla tracking as it is home to more than half of the surviving mountain gorilla population.

Semliki National Park
Semliki National Park is situated in the southwest of Uganda. The park protects an extension of the Ituri Forest and forms a part of a forest continuum with a range of forest dwelling species such as elephant and chimpanzee.
