Mweya Safari Lodge is located on a peninsula within the heart of the spectacular Queen Elizabeth National Park and boasts a wide range of accommodation, all with spectacular views of the Kazinga Channel and Lake Albert.

To its west are the magical mountain ranges of the Rwenzoris and to its east are the spectacular high raised Rift Valley Hills separated from the Rwenzoris by the meandering Kazinga Channel.

The accommodation at Mweya ranges from the grandeur of the President's Cottage (where Her Majesty the Queen Mother lodged in 1954) to the luxury of the Deluxe Suites and double and twin bedrooms.

All rooms boast private balconies with stunning views overlooking Lake Albert and the Kazinga Channel.

Mweya Safari Lodge also boasts a beautiful swimming pool, a poolside bar, a souvenir shop and the Kazinga Restaurant which serves delicious global cuisine daily.

The lodge is also a favourite for birding enthusiasts, boasting over 600 species and some of the best birding opportunities in East Africa
