Mount Gahinga Lodge nestles at the foot and in the shadow of the dramatic Virunga Volcanoes in south western Uganda, on the border with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Guests at Mount Gahinga are accommodated in nine comfortable thatched bandas each with their own private bathroom facilities and stunning views towards the Virunga Volcanoes.
This is the ideal place to stay while tracking the endangered Mountain gorilla in Mgahinga National Park in Uganda.
Climbing one of the Virunga volcanoes, bird-watching, visiting one of the emerald lakes nearby, or just taking-in one of the most beautiful and breathtaking African landscapes, are just some of the activities available from Mount Gahinga Lodge.
The Lodge is approximately an hours flight from Uganda's capital Entebbe – or a long day’s drive - or an approximate four hours drive from Rwanda's capital Kigali.
