Il N’gwesi Lodge won the British Airways Eco-Tourism Award in 1999 for its remarkable contribution to community conservation.

Owned and run by the local Maasai community, the lodge is situated in beautiful surrounds and offers visitors three double rooms, each with a third bed and an additional honeymoon suite.

The sitting and dining areas are open plan and there is a swimming pool with pool house.  Guests book the whole lodge when visiting and are therefore assured of the highest levels of exclusivity.
