The lodge is set on the edge of the Samangua Valley, offering scenic views across the plains to Mount Kenya.  

Four of the eight cottages have double beds while the other four have twin beds. Only local materials and dead wood were used in the construction of the rooms, ensuring that the lodge doesn't overpower the natural surroundings.

The result is a comfortable lodge with small luxuries like fireplaces in the rooms, spacious bathrooms and wide verandas. There is also a main lodge area as well as a swimming pool.
