This camp is situated on the banks of the Luangwa River under a canopy of trees in the South Luangwa National Park.

There are only four reed and thatch chalets, each equipped with queen size beds and decorative yet very functional - mosquito nets. The bathroom amenities include a shower and is en suite.

There is a rustic dining area and fully stocked bar under thatch.

Guests may enjoy splendid game viewing at the waterhole in front of the camp.

Bilimungwe is closely associated with other stylish bushcamps in the South Luangwa National Park as part of the Bushcamps Co. These include the scenic Kapamba Bush Camp, Chindeni, Chamilandu,  Kuyenda Bush Camp, Zungulila Walking Trails Camp and the larger Mfuwe Lodge.
