Sindabezi Island Camp
Accommodation
- 4 thatched chalets
- Open-fronted design
- Cold running water, hot bucket showers and flush loos with views
- Entire island can be yours exclusively at no extra costs if in party of 4 or more
Each chalet's open-fronted design brings you close to nature and with no electricity on the island; the glow of the lamps or flickering candles will provide a certain ambience to the atmosphere.
Exclusivity is the keyword when describing this enchanting destination as the Sindabezi Island Lodge can only accommodate eight guests.
Accommodation consists of four thatched open-fronted chalets each with their own sweeping river views.
A Zambezi sunset will keep guests enthralled as they relax in the lounge area with a sundowner. The island is fully staffed and guides will captivate guests with old bush tales around the campfire.
Sindabezi Island is situated nearby the camp's mainland base of Tongabezi Lodge. A combination of Tongabezi Lodge and Sindabezi Island is a great experience.

Private trips to Livingstone Island are also part of the Tongabezi portfolio. Livingstone Island is in a prime location on the lip of the Victoria Falls themselves, in the centre of the Zambezi River.
There are three morning trips with tea and snacks, a lunch time trip including the opportunity to swim in the pools on the edge of the Falls, and 1 afternoon trip with swim, tea, drinks and snacks.
Sindabezi Island Camp is closely associated with Tongabezi Lodge a luxurious lodge with an air of romance and indulgence in one of the most beautiful locations in the world above Victoria Falls, and Tangala House, a large and exclusive house on the banks of the upper Zambezi.
