Situated within the exclusive Makalali conservancy, Garonga is an exquisite safari camp consisting of six en-suite tented chalets that have been built on wooden tree house platforms.

Each tent has a king-size bed that has been swathed in drapings in four-poster bed style. There is also a private deck with a hammock and comfy chairs as well as outdoor showers.

The exclusive Hambleden Suite features a hand-carved four-poster bed, hand-beaten copper bath and private pool on the veranda.

There is also a vast North African Moorish-influenced main reception and communal dining area under thatch.

Garonga is able to host intimate weddings and highly successful conferences. The camp also has a salt water swimming pool with waterfall that drops down into the river bed below.
