Susuwe Island Lodge is situated on the remote Birre Island in the Kwando river. The lodge nestles in a pristine wilderness under a spectacular canopy of indigenous trees.
Each of the six suites is luxuriously furnished with four-poster beds draped with mosquito netting and has en suite bathrooms with window-height tubs for a bath with a view.
There is also a wooden deck with a plunge pool set right out in the bush for the height of tranquility and relaxation.
The main lodge is under thatch and includes a dining area, reference library, curio shop, firepit and a double level viewing deck built into the forest canopy.
