Nosy Be

Not normally thought of as having the best Indian Ocean island getaways, Madagascar offers pristine beaches in remarkably untouristed resorts – a definite attraction.

Madagascar is a prime diving and beach destination, with a wealth of fauna and flora – 80% of  which can be found nowhere else on the planet. The island consists of rainforests, mountains and stunning, turquoise waters with coral reefs.

• Andilana beach
  This is the premier beach of Nosy Be and lies in the far north-western corner of the island chain. It is a beautiful, sub-tropical place of white sands, palm trees and warm, turquoise waters, which are perfect for divers and swimmers alike
  
• Nosy Komba
  A large island, situated between Nosy Be and the mainland. The island is well known for its volcano, dense forest vegetation, beautiful beaches and snorkeling sites.
