Rufiji River camp is a tented camp situated in the northeastern part of the Selous on a high bank overlooking the mighty Rufiji River and the plain beyond.

The camp accommodates guests in twenty very comfortable tents. Each tent has twin bed with mosquito nets, completely equipped private bathroom and comfortable veranda facing a magnificent view.

The central restaurant provides excellent exotic and international cuisine. A well equipped bar gives the guests a wide choice of beverages. 

Besides walking safaris and 4x4 excursions, a major attraction is the boat trip along the Rufiji river and the adjoining lakes where hippo, crocodile and four hundred species of birds can be observed. Sport fishing facilities are also available.
