Lianshulu is situated on the banks of the Kwando River and guests have wide views across the floodplains of the Kwando Concession and part of the greater Linyanti ecosystem.

The lodge is situated in its own private concession in a beautiful riverine setting. 

Each of the twelve chalets has been built from local materials such as reed, wood, brick and thatch and the interiors have been decorated according to traditional Namibian styles.

Each room has a dressing area next to the main bedroom, which opens onto a wooden veranda with a view over the Kwando River. All chalets have en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers.

There are two secluded honeymoon suites with baths as well as walk-in showers.

The main lodge has a swimming pool and a dining room, lounge and pub under thatch.

Lianshulu Bush Lodge is closely associated with Chobe Savanna Lodge in the Caprivi Strip and can be combined alongside other Desert and Delta camps including Camp Okavango, Camp Moremi, Tsaro Elephant Lodge and Xugana Island Lodge in the Okavango Delta; Chobe Game Lodge and Mowana Safari Lodge in Chobe National Park; and Savuti Safari Lodge on the banks of northern Botswana's Savute Channel.

'Getaway Magazine' - Africa's most renowned consumer travel publication is the tourism 'bible' for Southern African residents and many visitors alike.  In the February 2005 edition, the Caprivi Strip was featured as the prime story. Lianshulu Lodge was covered extensively and was the only accommodation establishment in the Caprivi, to be awarded the Getaway Magazine 5 star rating.
