Kapani was originally built by the conservation legend Norman Carr and is a stylish lodge, in the classic safari tradition. The lodge is situated on one of the many oxbow lagoons in the South Luangwa.
There are eight standard suites and two new Lagoon Houses, 20 beds all in all. The brick and thatch chalets offer elegant interiors and spacious rooms. The Lagoon Houses offer more spacious rooms, private views and more furnishings.
This is the ideal place for first-time visitors to the African bush. The lodge has a swimming pool and a wooden deck where brunch is served each day.
