Kuyenda Bush Camp
Accommodation
- 4 chalets
- Double beds
- Rustic, yet comfortable atmosphere
Kuyenda is situated in a remote part of the South Luangwa National Park, on the banks of the Manzi River.
There are only four reed and thatch chalets, each with double beds, mosquito nets and en-suite facilities. The camp ordinarily sleeps six, but can accommodate a maximum of eight people.
The main dining area and lounge at Kuyenda is under thatch.
Due to its secluded and isolated location, Kuyenda is able to offer guests absolute privacy in the middle of the African wilderness.
It is run by Phil Berry who is one of the most experienced guides in the South Luangwa valley and an expert on the area.
Activities
Kuyenda Bush Camp is closely associated with other stylish bushcamps in the South Luangwa National Park as part of the Bushcamps Co. These include Kapamba Bush Camp, Bilimungwe, Chindeni, Chamilandu, Zungulila Walking Trails Camp and the larger Mfuwe Lodge.
