Chikwenya is situated on what must be one of the most beautiful sites for a camp in Southern Africa.

The camp has been built on an open floodplain, Chikwenya Island and the Zambezi River and borders Zimbabwe's Mana Pools National Park - a photographer's paradise.

The nine tented rooms are situated amongst huge acacia trees and have extensive views from private verandas across the floodplain. There are twin bedded tents as well as king-size beds and each has en suite bathroom facilities.

There are outside showers in seven tents and there is also a honeymoon tent with outside bath. The rooms are linked via boardwalk to the main, thatched dining area where there is also a lounge and pub.

The camp has a plunge pool as well as an outdoor decked area for dinners under the stars and stargazing.
