Mfangano is a tranquil camp on an island in Lake Victoria, so remote that guests have to be flown there.

Each of the traditional thatch and mud rondavels is set in lovely, green gardens on the edge of the water, in a protected bay. Sytlish bathrooms with flush loos, showers, baths

The rooms are open to the lake and have four-poster beds, romantic, ethnic furnishings and private verandas. There is a central living room and dining area with a small swimming pool and atmospheric wooden jetty where sunsets can be enjoyed in peace.

Other camps associated with Mfangano Island are Governor's Main Camp, Little Governor's Camp, Governor's Il Moran Camp, Governor's Bush Camp, Governor's Private Camp.  

Loldia House is also an associated facility; all of these camps are excellent facilities to combine with Mfangano Island.
