Situated in an untouched section of the National park, the safari tents at Zungulila are set in a Mahogany forest on a small hill overlooking the Kapamba River in the South Luangwa National Park. It is 62 km to the south of Mfuwe, and 8 km west of Kapamba Bush Camp.
The tents are raised on platforms in the trees. The dining area is under a huge Mahogany tree with a sweeping vista over the floodplain. There is a shady spot to sit in during midday to observe game coming down to feed on the floodplain. There is a large pool of hippos nearby.
This camp offers walking only (no night drives), giving a taste of Africa that is as unique as the camp itself. Walks take place in the camps immediate area and along the Kapamba River and its flood plain.
- Morning and afternoon walking safaris
Zungulila Bush Camp is closely associated with other stylish bushcamps in the South Luangwa National Park. These include Kapamba Bush Camp, Bilimungwe, Chindeni, Chamilandu, Kuyenda Bush Camp and the larger Mfuwe Lodge.
