Ant's Nest
Accommodation
- A beautiful colonial homestead
- 4 luxurious en-suite rooms
- Children of all ages welcome
Ant's Nest is a very special bush home situated on adjoining private game reserves in the Waterberg region of South Africa, a couple of hours south of the great Limpopo River.
The house is hosted by Ant and Tessa Baber and their competent and friendly team.
Lying in a natural amphitheatre, the original homestead, with its wide verandas, has a classic African atmosphere.
The four luxurious en-suite rooms accommodate a maximum of only twelve guests, so a high level of exclusivity is guaranteed.
Tessa, who grew up in Kenya, has given the colonial home a stylish warmth using tasteful classic furniture fashioned from local fabrics, timber and stone.
Ant's Nest also boasts a refreshing pool in the garden surrounded by extensive lawns and beds of indigenous plants. A wide variety of game also frequents the waterhole in front of the house, where horses and dogs abound.
Activities
- Horse riding safaris
- Guided bush walks
- Game drives
- Swimming pool
Ant's Nest is very closely associated with Ant's Hill, also located in the Waterberg.
