These two owner run lodges, located within the Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province of South Africa, are both situated under a grove of Tambotie and Leadwood trees on the banks of the Groot Marico River. The adjacent lodges each consist of eight luxury rooms:
Jaci's Safari Lodge: Jaci's Safari Lodge blends beautifully into its surroundings, encompassing a magnificent main area built around an ancient termite mound.
The eight large rooms are each built with shaggy thatched roofs, canvas walls and large tented windows to create a true safari atmosphere, inviting guests to enjoy their bush surroundings.
Each suite also boasts a charming en-suite bathroom with a superb hand-made rock bath and an outdoor 'safari' shower.
Jaci's Tree Lodge: Jaci's Tree Lodge consists of eight 'tree houses' each encompassing a Tambotie or Leadwood tree.
Each of the 'tree houses' is built on stilts, with rosewood walkways in the tree canopies along the Marico River, linking each with the splendid main lodge and its generous facilities.
The 'Nare Suite': An exciting addition to Jaci's Safari Lodge offering the ultimate bush experience, the suite accommodates only four guests, ensuring a high level of exclusivity, and offers fantastic views of the resident buffalo who frequent the waterhole in front of the Suite.
