In the heart of the Madikwe Game Reserve is the Etali Safari Lodge, a haven of thatched cottages surrounded by the South African savannah.

Breakfast and dinner can be eaten in either the dining room or outside in the bush, and traditional dinners are offered in a kraal built of stone next to the watering hole. You can sit on your own personal sundeck and drink sundowners as you watch the sun go down over the magnificent bush, and at night hear the lions calling as they walk around the reserve.

The Family Suite has two back to back rooms connected by a deck and sharing a heated plunge pool. The suite does not have an out door shower.

At Etali, wellness is one of the most important philosophies, hence the presence of the Wellness Centre. With thatched treatment rooms overlooking the savannah or treatments available on your own sundeck, traditional South African methods that have been in use for 1000 years will relax and rejuvenate you, so that when the time to leave arrives, you won't want to go!
