Located on the Spioenkop Hill (meaning Spy Lookout Hill), Three Trees is a traditionally designed colonial lodge that looks out over the Spoienkop Game Reserve.
From most points of the lodge, a stunning variety of wildlife can be seen; for example white rhino, giraffe, eland and kudu, as well as numerous smaller antelope. There are 270 recorded bird species in the area, and the beautiful setting lends itself to sitting and watching the world go by.
With a rich history behind the famous Anglo-Boer War, Three Trees offers an educational insight into the development of South Africa as a nation, with the main focus being the Battle of Spioenkop.
