Elsa’s Kopje is situated on Mughwango Hill in the Meru National Park, the site of George Adamson’s original camp and takes its name from the lioness Elsa that was freed nearby by the famous conservationist.
Each of the eight spacious stone and thatch cottages have wooden floors and offer magnificent views of the countryside. The interiors boast four-poster beds, romantic mosquito netting and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. All have en-suite bathroom facilities.
The family cottage consists of one double room and one twin room with a beautiful shared sitting room and verandah. A scenic swimming pool accompanies the lodge.
The honeymoon suite is a 3-tiered cottage with a double bedroom, a sitting room and private deck united by a sweeping staircase.
Lion sightings together with both Black & White Rhino, Elephant and rare antelope species are now a daily occurrence in the Meru National Park.
