The Blue Gum Country Estate is a tranquil estate overlooked by the Klein River Mountains. With a view to becoming a wine estate, there are 3 ha of Shiraz grapes to wander through, with an additional 6 ha planned. In addition to this, there are large lawns to walk over, benches to sit on and take in the stunning scenery and a variety of activities to try.

The Manor House has a lounge, library and verandah; morning and evening meals are taken in the dining room, or with fine weather on the verandah overlooking the vineyard. Sundowners are in the boma, and a light lunch is available, or a picnic can be provided.

The Elephant Suite is located in the Manor House, and has its own lounge area, a large private deck and an impressive view through large windows.

The Honeymoon Suite is also in the Manor House, with a lounge, fireplace, a private garden, and plenty of room to spread out in.

The estate is in close vicinity to 20 nature reserves and botanical gardens, 20 art shops and galleries, 16 museums, 24 beaches and over 100 restaurants, which can all be visited, and it is only two hours from nearby Cape Town.
