Savute Safari Lodge is built among ancient camelthorn trees, overlooking the now-dry Savute Channel.

Up to 24 people can be accommodated in the contemporary furnished luxury wood, thatch and glass safari suites.

Each chalet features large sliding doors, private decks and en suite facilities with walk-in showers.

The lounge, library and cocktail bar are situated in the exquiesite thatch and timber main building. This is also where the dining room is found, which can double up as a conference room with seating for up to 20 delegates.

There is also a swimming pool on a raised wooden teak deck overlooking the channel.

Savute Safari Camp is closely associated with other camps in the Okavango Delta including Camp Moremi, Camp Okavango, Tsaro Elephant Lodge and Xugana Island Lodge; Chobe Game Lodge and Mowana Safari Lodge in Chobe National Park; and Chobe Savanna Lodge and Lianshulu Bush Lodge in Namibia's Caprivi Strip.

Savute Safari Lodge is closed annually between 13 February and 14 March
