The Loisaba Lodge complex perches in a magnificent location, high up on the northern Laikipia Plateau and faces Mt Kenya and consists of a total of nineteen rooms. 

The lodge has been crafted from stone, local timber and thatch and each of the rooms has large French windows opening onto a private deck. The view from the private verandas, complete with comfy furniture, is breathtaking. 

Loisaba also has unique outdoor “star beds” consisting of four-poster beds entirely covered by mosquito netting on a wooden raised platform, for sleeping outdoors.  Both the Koija and Kiboko Starbeds are complete with two double sleeping platforms and one large family platform.

There is also a large, luxurious cottage for groups with two large double bedrooms, own dedicated staff including an excellent cook. The main lodge is thatched and elegantly furnished and also features a swimming pool, tennis court and croquet lawn as well as a spa with massage and beauty treatments.

Loisaba Private House is also available and accommodates guests in two luxurious and generous en-suite double bedrooms.  The house is fully staffed and comes with an exclusive butler service, private vehicle and stunning private pool on a cliff edge overlooking the wilderness and animals below.

Important Notes: Loisaba Lodge is closed annually in April, May & November.  The Private Cottage at Loisaba Lodge is open all year round.  The private house is only open between 01 June-15 Sept and 16 Dec-15 January.
