Lythwood is scenically situated in the rolling green hills of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

The old, stone country house has been converted into a luxurious hotel with three different kinds of accommodation: premier, luxury and veranda.

All rooms have double beds and en suite bathrooms with showers and bath, while the premier rooms for example, are larger and have a queen size sleigh or a king-size bed.

The veranda rooms have patios with views of the forest. The wheelchair friendly room is specially built for disabled guests.

The hotel also has a main formal lounge, an intimate meeting lounge, library and conference room as well as a bar, outside courtyard, two patios, swimming pool and a large baronial dining room.
